Course Description

Social Innovation Program tailored for first-year engineering students. This transformative initiative empowers budding innovators with a comprehensive skill set. Participants are introduced to Design Thinking, a problem-solving approach that fosters creative solutions to societal issues. They gain hands-on experience in UI and UX Digital Prototyping using Figma, honing their design skills. Additionally, students delve into research and stakeholder mapping, grasping the importance of understanding community needs. With CAD modeling in Onshape, 2D/3D design and assembly concepts are mastered. Field visits and interview techniques enhance real-world insights. Problem analysis, ideation, and physical prototyping cultivate innovative thinking. The program culminates in a final project pitch, equipping students with the tools to drive positive change in society.
