Course Description

Our Rapid Prototyping course is designed to provide first-year students with a comprehensive introduction to the exciting world of innovation and product development. It equips them with essential skills to transform ideas into tangible solutions. Students embark on a journey that includes mastering the fundamentals of Basic Electronics and Arduino, enabling them to incorporate electronic components into their prototypes. They also gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies through Introduction to Laser Cutting and 3D Printing.

The course emphasizes ideation and encourages creative thinking, teaching students how to brainstorm and develop innovative concepts. They are introduced to the Business Model Canvas to understand the commercial aspects of their creations. The heart of the course lies in Prototype Development with User Testing, where students take their ideas to the field, gather feedback, and iterate on their designs.

The program culminates in the creation of a Final Pitch Deck accompanied by working prototypes, ensuring students are well-prepared to present their innovative solutions.
